HSAW Linepipe .

Spirally welded steel pipes, called HSAW or SSAW, are widely used and offer the advantage of being produced in large diameters. These pipes are mainly used to transport fluids such as natural gas, oil, and water over long distances, enabling us to access the resources we need in our daily lives. HSAW pipes can also be used as piling pipes in the construction sector for land reclamation projects and port construction and expansions.  After being produced, they are delivered with internal coatings specific to the fluid that will pass through them and external coatings tailored to the environmental conditions in which they will be installed.

Spirally welded steel pipes produced at Borusan Berg Pipe facilities are delivered with quality and a range of delivery options that best meet the needs of our business partners, including many coating options such as epoxy, polyethylene, and polypropylene. In the raw material supply for HSAW Line Pipe production, high-toughness steel (API PSL1-PSL2) with a homogeneous microstructure and reliable, consistent mechanical properties is used. The raw material we use can be traced from the beginning of the process to the end.
